5 Underrated Songs

Being a passionate music lover I always go around through Pandora or Spotify just wondering why not many people are talking about these fantastic artists!

These songs in particular are just some I can’t get out of my head though I feel like they deserve so much more attention! I’ll give you some thoughts that came along while listening to these pieces.

So let’s jump right in!

At this point you should probably already know how much I adore Ryan’s music (since I literally typed an entire post about it! Whoops). I have to say that this song in particular is one of my all time favorites because of how sweet and soft it is. The melody can put me peacefully to sleep which is one of the greatest thing!

Thanks to Twilight‘s soundtrack it has blessed us with a song I grew fondly for. I mean you can’t blame me when this song was playing at Bella and Edward’s prom I got all the feels! Though the moment it also appeared during their wedding scene! That was like one of the greatest moments in my opinion.

The funny thing about this song is the fact that the lyrics are pretty amusing due to how lovely the music sounds.

But who knows maybe I’ll play this during my wedding one day.

Oh boy! Let me tell you about this one. Back in 2017 I went to Gradnite in Disneyland with my school it was the moment we’ve all been waiting for since junior year in high school. I remember entering California Adventures and hearing this song hundreds of times throughout the entire night!

I loved it! I sang my heart out while my friends laughed.

Every time I listen to that song I always remember the great times I had with my best friends and that’s something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Oh how I wish I could relive that moment again, just one more time.

I saw Royal Blood for the first time at KROQ‘s Almost Acoustic Christmas last December.  Their performance blew me away! Although I didn’t know who they were months before the concert but while wondering around through the internet that’s when I realized they made the song “Figure It Out” and I was sold!

I chose this song because during the concert it caught my attention I absolutely loved how heavy it sounded live. Their style is so awesome I wish I could put it down into words but man! I need to see them again because I have been dying to hear those guitars play over and over!

I have to admit that Phora is one of the few rappers that I actually like because honestly I am not really into rap music. But turns out I am in love with his album “Yours Truly Forever” every song from there is so good! From what I caught on his songs are mostly about heart break and about the things he has been through that’s how I came upon “God” in particular. The lyrics are so relatable I mean when he said,

Yeah, I’ve been unfaithful, God
At times I’ve been ungrateful, God, and
At my lowest points, I went as far sayin’, “I hate you, God”
And nothin’ is okay right now
No one feels my pain right now
If I didn’t have my team, I would’ve blew out my fuckin’ brains by now
But I’m just hopin’, yeah
I’m just hopin’
I’m just hopin’ someone cares […]”

I honestly felt that.

In case any of you are curious he’s recently put out another album called “Love Is Hell” you should head over to Spotify and give it a listen sometime!

I totally recommend for you to give it a go whenever you have free time! I would understand if some of these songs are not your type, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. Tell me what songs I should listen to I’m open to any suggestions!
